Currently live just outside of Philadelphia in Berwyn and looking for to lease 3-5 acres preferably in the surrounding area but willing to drive up to 1.5 hrs. Interested in longer term lease in order to set-up regenerative ag / agroforestry production system with emphasis on perennials , soil health, and biodiversity. I’m really interested in the idea of setting up a farm that improves the land and brings back biodiversity, while also being profitable, with lower input costs, and reliance on natural resources through improved nutrient and water cycles. Not looking to have any animals on the farm (at least to start)
I do not have currently have a farm (or any real practical experience), however have done a ton or research and am motivated to make it work. I’m only looking for a small farm to learn and develop an efficient production system. I now work in financial services in Philadelphia and have two small children that I think would benefit massively from being and working on a farm. Happy to discuss business / marketing plan at request.

I am 32 year old female veteran of the Air Force. I have been working on the land since I was little. I grew up with immigrant grandparents from Italy who only worked the land to live. I am looking to jump into crop production with a few greenhouses. I would be new to this type of production but am steadfast in learning and succeeding.

I am seeking to build an organic, sustainable farm that I can grow food for my family and the surrounding community. Ideally I would be able to build something that my children and grandchildren can happily farm after me.
I have very basic experience in farming, most of it coming from growing up and working at a family farm, and working with my father on his small plot of land (more garden than farm). I am planning on working at an internship near where I am stationed currently (Fort Riley, KS) for my last few months of my military contract to learn and work on an organic farm, soaking up as much experience as I can.
I have a love of food, the outdoors, conservation, and animals. These all come together in my hope to build a lasting farm for my family’s future.

My name is Tyler, and farming is more than a dream to me it’s in my blood. I grew up on my grandfather’s pig farm where I spent my childhood learning how to operate tractors, raise pigs and cattle, bale and harvest hay, mend fences, clean stalls, and butcher livestock for our family and community. It’s where I learned the value of hard work, how to respect the land, and what it means to live a life of purpose. Those early days shaped who I am.
After 12 years of serving in the military, I’m a disabled veteran currently working as a crane instructor for the U.S. Air Force. But my heart has always been on the farm. My goal is to transition out of the military and return to my roots this time with my own family beside me. My fiancé, Courtney, recently opened a flower shop and has a passion for working with horses. We currently have one horse, Deacon, who’s already teaching our four boys how to ride and care for animals. Watching them bond with him makes me even more determined to give them the kind of upbringing I was lucky enough to have—one that’s grounded in the rhythms of farm life.
We’re actively looking to buy or lease-to-own a farm in Pennsylvania preferably in Lebanon county or Dauphin county. Our dream is to build a multi-faceted family farm where we can board horses, raise cattle, and grow and harvest our own hay. We want a place where our boys can run free, learn real-life skills, and grow up appreciating the kind of life that only a farm can offer.
We’re not looking for a quick flip or a short-term fix we’re looking for a legacy. A farm to call home. A place to steward and work with our hands. If you’re looking to pass on your land to a family who will love it, care for it, and build a future on it, we’d love to talk. We’re not afraid of hard work, and we believe in honoring tradition while building something new for the next generation.

I am seeking an opportunity to grow medicinal herbs with a focus on native medicinal and edible plants, Chinese medicinals and raise rabbits for the animal food industry. I also wish to grow figs and seasonal heirloom vegetable plant starts. I plan to market the herbs wholesale dried to the retail business market initially and potentially grow into food processing beyond dehydration. I currently have a collection of heirloom figs that need a proper in ground home. I wish to utilize the figs for both fruit production and fig tree starts. I believe the leaves can also be utilized for sale.
I am seeking a career change for a more satisfying and fulfilling live work environment. I started my career change exploration by working at a greenhouse grow production business then a retail nursery business. I spent a month on an ecotourism focused organic farm this past summer. I have experience in B2B sales, real estate sales, property management and hospitality.
I have a rough draft business plan and see an opportunity opening in the market of medicinal herbs grown in the USA as well as a burgeoning health pet food movement. There are few providers in this region for this market opening.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

My name is Joseph Jezierski, and I am an active-duty service member in the United States Navy, specializing in cybersecurity. Although my career has been rooted in cyber operations, I have always carried a deep passion for farming and sustainable agriculture. Growing up in a hardworking family, I developed a profound respect for labor-intensive, rewarding work, which has been a driving force in shaping my dream of owning and operating a farm. My military experience has not only strengthened my discipline and adaptability but also provided me with advanced technical skills that I believe are highly relevant to modern farming practices.
During my military career, I have cultivated skills that I know will translate well to farming. As a cybersecurity specialist, I’ve learned to analyze complex systems, which will help in managing farm operations, troubleshooting equipment, and implementing new technologies. I have also developed the ability to adapt to evolving challenges, a skill that is critical for both cyber operations and farming, where resilience and quick decision-making are essential. Additionally, I have gained expertise in utilizing technology effectively. With the rise of precision agriculture, technology plays a vital role in increasing efficiency and sustainability, and my background in digital systems positions me to integrate these advancements into farm operations seamlessly. Although my hands-on farming experience is limited, I am actively seeking opportunities to learn and grow. I have enrolled with PA Farm Link through their New Farmer Form and am eager to connect with seasoned farmers who can mentor me in this journey.
I’m reaching out to farmers with the hope of learning from your invaluable experience. Farming is not just an aspiration for me; it’s a dream that has grown with me over the years. I am looking for a pathway to transition into farming full-time after completing my military service. My goal is to acquire land in Pennsylvania’s rich agricultural landscape and establish a farm that will serve as my home and a legacy for future generations. My vision includes implementing sustainable and ethical farming practices, such as free-range systems for cows, chickens, pigs, goats, and sheep to ensure humane treatment and healthy, natural growth. For crops, I aim to grow a diverse selection of specialized crops alongside staple crops that are critical to Pennsylvania and the nation. I also want to leverage advancements in the digital age to improve farming efficiency and sustainability through tools like temperature-monitoring systems, precision irrigation, and soil analysis software, as well as data-driven farming applications to optimize yields and conserve resources. Beyond operational efficiency, I am deeply committed to community and environmental impact, providing food that supports local and national food systems while contributing to environmental conservation through sustainable practices that prioritize soil health, water efficiency, and biodiversity.
My ultimate dream is to create a farm that serves as a model of sustainability and innovation, while remaining deeply rooted in tradition. I envision my farm as a place that not only feeds people but also inspires future farmers to embrace ethical practices and technological advancements. Hello my name is Joe Venasco, I am a 22 year old first generation farmer from Volant Pa. I currently farm roughly 220 acres of corn and soybeans on my own with my own equipment around Lawrence and Mercer counties. Since I was roughly 4 years old I’ve always had a strong desire to be in the agricultural industry. Once I started into high school I got my first job on a local farm helping with field work, milking cows, and chores. I was very strongly involved in 4-H and FFA during this time as well. I started farming on my own 6 years ago raising hay as well as cattle and 4-H show goats. Over the past 3 years I have gotten out of livestock and hay for the opportunity to raise corn and soybeans. In addition I am currently employed at the local farm co-op where I work around agronomy and grain. I am looking to lease to own or a lease agreement farm where I can grow my operation. I am looking for a farm mostly around northern Lawrence County or Mercer County so I can continue to raise crops on the ground I currently lease. If the opportunity came, I would be open to moving my operation further north to Crawford County. Also if the opportunity came I would be open to raising livestock again.
