My name is Bradley Blair, and together with my wife, Michelle Blair, we own and operate
Blair Family Farms. We are reaching out to explore opportunities for a long-term farm lease
and/or a financial partnership to help us advance our vision of a sustainable, regenerative
farming enterprise.
About Us
Founded in 2023, Blair Family Farms is a first-generation, pasture-based regenerative farm
dedicated to raising livestock in harmony with nature. Our mission is to foster sustainable
agricultural practices, enhance soil health, and contribute to the decentralization of the
American food system.
What began as a small family project when our eldest child joined 4-H—raising broiler
chickens—has grown into a lifelong commitment to ethical animal husbandry and soil
restoration.
Our Approach
We practice regenerative agriculture rooted in respect for “the chickeness of the chicken” and
“the pigness of the pig.” Our animals are raised on rotational grazing systems, allowing them to
express their natural behaviors while improving soil fertility, biodiversity, and pasture resilience.
This approach results in healthier animals, more vibrant ecosystems, and stronger local food
networks.
We are seeking a property and partnership that align with our values of stewardship,
sustainability, and community resilience. It is our goal to cultivate land in a way that restores its
vitality, supports local food systems, and builds long-term agricultural viability.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss how our goals might align and explore potential
opportunities for collaboration.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Warm regards,
Bradley & Michelle Blair

The ideal situation would have housing available as well as limited zoning restrictions. As ultimately we would like to establish an on farm USDA processing facility.

I am looking for 10-25 acres of land to begin my operations that will consist of the following: 500 laying hens, 1000 broilers, a 1.5-acre vegetable garden, two cows, six sheep, a small processing mobile unit that can be eventually removed. I am seeking to form or collaborate with a farmer who would be willing to let me either use a portion of their unused land or construct a 1-5 year leases agreement. This would position my operation to immediately build soil nutrient, sequester carbon, give value to the property and or eventually exercise a motion to either buy or lease for long term.

I am looking for a farm to grow organic vegetables, and to keep cows and chickens.
I have some experience with a small kitchen garden and storing the food for the winter months.
I would like land to continue growing vegetables and also knowledge on how to run a farm with animals for the winter season.

I hope to continue or create a combination of productive and stewarded land use that serves as both a home and a community resource. Somewhere that supports food, culture, art, and care. I grew up in rural Midwest and have lived in the Philly for about 15 years. Now I’m ready to return to a more natural setting and deepen my connection to land and local community. I have experience with gardening and small-scale food growing, and I’d like to grow that into a collaborative effort with others who share similar values.

I work for the USDA and currently have chickens for eggs and want to start a hatchery of my own. I also would like to get into livestock. A previous assignment I worked in my career as an inspector, was on a cattle farm. I spent 6 years learning what I could from the farmers who cross breed double muscle cattle for the best quality of meat. I am also a student at Pennsylvania State University, I’m enrolled in Agricultural business marketing degree. My passion in life is Agriculture and I want to get into farming and being able to contribute to my local communities Agricultural programs

My name is Cheryl. I am a single mother of two children, ages 7 and 15, living in Ellwood City, PA. I currently have a small garden, five cats, and a half dozen chickens, but I have a vision for so much more.

When I lived in South Carolina I was a social worker, and I saw how difficult it is to place older foster children. I promised myself one day I would take in foster kids of my own and look out for them during the most chaotic time of their lives. The adage says, “it takes a village…” but our villages are gone. Traditional community can be hard to come by, and my partner Brendan and I want to change that. We want a working farm people can visit to form connections through labor, education, and socialization. I want to build a community here and bring a sense of belonging to children who need it. However, first, we need to lay a foundation. We need land to care for, and space to create a village. And we have a plan.

For the past two years Brendan and I have researched what it would take to make our dreams reality and put small-scale plans into action. We composted, collected rainwater, and built a large coop and run for my chickens. We looked into sustainable farming, noting local farms and parks we would like to emulate, and met with a local rescue farm that takes in animals seized from abusive environments.

Our plans will be flexible depending upon the existing land and infrastructure, but our overall goals include a nonprofit agribusiness and event venue that combines sustainable farming, hospitality, and community outreach. We intend to have a large barn that serves as an event space for weddings and festivals, as well as themed cabins for guests. We have discussed having a small cafe featuring foods grown on the property, and space for artists to grow and experiment. I currently host paint-and-sip events in local businesses and homes, and we have acquired a kiln, as well as a large movie screen to showcase films by local students and amateurs.

This is our plan. Our life goal. Our retirement. I was blessed to find a man who shares my dream and wants to take on this challenge with me. It will take a village, but I think that’s exactly what this community needs.

I am about to start my farming journey. the costs of buying farm land and set it up to work are extremely high; and im not one for taking risks, so i want to pay off the loans asap. I had initially set up plans for an elaborate self sustainable closed loop greenhouse business; but it looks like starting off growing hemp may be the fastest way to do pay everything off before branching out to my initial goals. As of now my goals are to acquire land and a home; and set up as many acres as possible with hemp for the first year, and second year depending on where the financials stand, i may do a second year like that, or cut back on the acres of hemp i farm and begin the greenhouse set ups.

I’m a brand new farmer who wants a part turn gig on a few acres. I’m considering garlic, as well as tree farming.
