We are Carlen and Joseph Piludu of Florida, seeking 100 or more acres for cattle, chickens, and crop production. We have approximately eight years of personal livestock care experience with chickens, a donkey, and goats at one location, rather than an established commercial farm. We are flexible nationwide and interested in Pennsylvania. Our stated acquisition budget is $100,000-$250,000, and we are open to a larger financed purchase, owner financing, below-market sale, lease-to-own, phased succession, or operating before ownership. We want to develop a diversified operation with secure long-term access to land, determining stocking rates and crop acreage after assessing pasture, soil, water, fencing, and infrastructure. Commercial business and marketing plans are still to be developed.

I am a budding farmer trying to learn and grow skills to one day run and care for larger amounts of land, plants, crops, and animals. I am interested in regenerative farming techniques that sustain and restore nutrients within the soil. My goal is to a mix of calorie dense crops, greens, nurture or start an orchard that includes fig, apple, pawpaw, pomegranate, and pear trees. I aim to keep chickens or ducks as well as goats or cows. I aim to prioritize natural solutions as much as possible to pest issues that may affect crops or livestock, in order to prevent harmful pesticide usage. My vision to is supply locally grown, healthy food to my family and others in the surrounding region.

My name is Hocine Bellatreche, and I am a beginning farmer seeking farmland to lease in Pennsylvania for a small sheep operation.
My plan is to start with 20 ewes and one ram, raising lambs on pasture using rotational grazing. I have limited hands-on experience with sheep so far, but I am committed to learning — I have been studying pasture management and working with USDA programs such as EQIP to build the operation the right way. I am looking for a long-term lease (5+ years) of approximately 30–40 acres of pasture with reliable water access.
I take land stewardship seriously: I plan to manage grazing to protect soil and pasture health, maintain fencing, and keep the property in good agricultural condition. I am financially prepared to cover startup costs and would welcome the chance to discuss how my operation could fit your goals for the land.
Thank you for considering my application. I would be glad to meet in person or speak by phone at your convenience.

I am an aspiring beginning farmer currently building the practical experience, knowledge, and business foundation needed to establish and operate a small, diversified farm. My professional background includes business, sustainability, project planning, and development, and I am now intentionally adding hands-on agricultural training through workshops, farm-based learning, and beginning-farmer programs. My goal is to acquire a modest property with approximately 2–5 usable acres and an existing residence, where I can develop a financially sustainable farm focused initially on specialty vegetables, herbs and botanicals, season-extension/high-tunnel production, and gourmet mushrooms. Over time, I would like to incorporate laying hens, beekeeping, flowers, and other complementary enterprises while maintaining a strong focus on soil health and responsible land stewardship. I am particularly interested in learning vegetable production, irrigation, crop planning, harvesting, wash/pack operations, farm equipment, and direct-market operations from experienced farmers. I am seeking both suitable farmland and opportunities to gain meaningful hands-on experience as I transition from planning and training into active farm ownership and production.

I hope to start a small, self-sustaining family farm to become more self-sufficient and turn my hobby of making value-added products from my grown produce into a full-time business. I’ve been growing fruits and vegetables in small gardens around Washington, DC for the last 5 years and making hot sauce, jams, bitters, syrups, teas, etc. from the produce for friends and family. My future business will be value-added, specialty consumable products made from over 50% of grown goods. Additional crops will be produced for subsistence farming. I also plan to use the land for deer and small game hunting. Existing conservation or the opportunity to set up conservation would be a major plus.
I also aim to make this property my family’s forever-home and enable multi-generational living by building or expanding at least one significant home and possibly several ADUs.

I am a veteran interested in starting a farm. I have worked many years in the federal government. And now want to work for myself and start my own farm. To grow food for my family and surrounding communities. And be able to provide healthy/safe food options to consume. I want to learn about all aspects of farming from start up to running and maintaining a successful farm. I would like to have fruits, vegatables, and livestock. As well as producing and selling my own fertilizer.
