Entering Farmer: 20257

I am deeply committed to sustainable agriculture, with six years of hands-on experience in the field and comprehensive training from various courses.

I have been actively involved in various aspects of sustainable agriculture, including silvopasture, rotational grazing, pastured poultry and pork, and cultivating high-value perennial crops like elderberry, hazelnut, and chestnut. Through my experiences, I have gained valuable insights and practical knowledge in these areas, which have prepared me to pursue my goals in establishing a sustainable farm.

Currently, I work with Trees for Graziers, in the field, improving pastures with trees for livestock and diversified income sources, and in the nursery, propagating trees with cutting edge genetics.

Alongside my farming endeavors, I’m passionate about agrotourism and envision my farm as a sought-after destination for visitors seeking immersive experiences in sustainable agriculture.

I’m actively seeking opportunities to secure access to farmland through purchasing, long-term leasing, or lease-to-own arrangements. Preferably, I aim for land ownership as it aligns with my goal of increasing the agricultural value of the property by establishing high-value trees. By adding these trees, I anticipate boosting the profitability of livestock farming and adding new income streams.

My excitement lies in settling on one piece of land, not only to establish trees for my benefit but to serve as a steward of the land, nurturing it with care and dedication, and creating a lasting legacy of sustainability and service to the community.
