Entering Farmer: 20257

Passionate, hardworking, creative 24 year old man looking for a farm. I am in the process of developing a specific business plan but generally I plan to generate revenue with events, rental cabins, meat, and produce.

I have worked on farms for four years, three with organic vegetables and one with pastured livestock. I took a permaculture design course last winter and am looking to gain more experience with trees this coming season. Farming wise I will practice silvopasture, growing trees over perennial grasses with livestock grazing, and market gardening. It is important to me to produce good food and I also see value in outdoor experiences.

On-farm events like workouts, barbeques, live music will bring in visitors. Those visitors will see that they can buy produce and stay in a quiet cabin. Something really special would be an amphitheater, stage, and studio. A property with varied topography is preferred so some sections can always remain more hidden. This is my vision but I am flexible.
