Entering Farmer: 20162

Looking for 5+ acres in the Bucks or Montgomery County area.  Prefer a long term lease or lease to buy option.

I started operation on our small family-run pet care business in 2019 just before Covid as a side gig to help bring in additional money for our household, through Rover.com. Much to my surprise things took off very quickly, until Covid hit. Once Covid hit I was laid off from my main job as a travel agent, no pet care reservations were coming in due to suspended travel, and in addition, my husband’s Lupus took a bad turn in November of 2020 leaving him unable to work. These circumstances left me to be the primary financial provider for my family of 5 and my husband’s caregiver.

During all of this, I continued to build our book of business for our pet care business slowly and opened Stop, Drop & Stroll Petcare. We offer private dog boarding, daycare, and grooming for pups 40lbs and under. My business has grown exponentially in the past 9 months to the point where we are turning down clientele (which we really do not like doing).

With this new growth, we have fallen in love with the idea of the potential to open an organic dog farm! This would be a place where dogs feel at home, providing a low-stress and free-range environment to run and play all day. With that, I would also like to farm on this land to produce and organic dog food and treat products. I would like to have the space to double our current occupancy as our growth does allow for this expansion. With a 5-year projection, I would like to add a mobile grooming element to our business to expand on the grooming portion of the business and add a dog training component as a business offering as well.

Housing on the property is ideal.  If no housing would look at possibility of moving a large modular home on the property.
