Husband and wife with three children living outside of Dillsburg with limited experience in commercial farming. Husband grew up on a 200-acre farm (beans/corn/20 angus) but unfortunately didn’t become interested in farming until later in life. His trade for the past 10 years has been tree work. Wife has proven to be quite the flower grower in the past few years and aspires to have a flower farm if we had the space.
We are fairly open to what we would farm but know we would farm using organic practices, be it raising cattle, goats, vegetables or flowers. We have a Massey Ferguson 245 with front end loader and some access to tractor implements such as a plow. We also have a small woodmizer bandsaw mill that may be incorporated into the works along with a 1963 F600 grain truck. Neither of us shy away from hard physical work and long days. We would prefer to find acreage within a half hour of Dillsburg.
