My wife’s family ran this farm as a small hobby farm. They took hay off the fields and maintained two horses, a cow, and a flock of ~40 sheep. We sought to care for the property in a similar way, but due to an injury we’re no longer able to achieve the things we’d like to here. We’re hoping to find someone interested in living in the house and utilizing the land. The farm is 157+/- acres with approximately 25 acres of hay fields that could be suitable for crop production, another 55 acres that is suitable for pasture, and 80 acres of woods. There is an old stone farmhouse on the property that we lived in for the last 4 years, but it certainly needs work. There is electricity and a good well. There is adequate cell phone reception at the house, and we used cell service for internet access at the property, as this is the most reliable option. It’s a remote and beautiful place.

Land has not been farmed in years. Currently being cut for cow feed. Part of the farm is being used for beef cows. Would like to see crops come to the land so it can be utilized.

2 acres perfect for a vineyard! Soil and water table are excellent for growing grapes. Land is totally cleared of trees and rocks, and has flat, green grass pasture land, and the pitch/drainage/run off is perfect with a gentle, rolling pitch. Open pastureland, no trees or stumps, open to other crops as well as a vineyard. Owners are retired couple; husband is recently blind. Can no longer mow. Would like to see the fields utilized by a farmer.
