Looking For Land In:

Entering Farmer: #20655

Farmer Information:

My fiancé and I are looking for an opportunity to build a long-term future for ourselves and our family through farming and a more self-sufficient way of life.

Our long-term dream is to establish a small, sustainable family farm where we can grow food, raise animals, become more self-sufficient, and eventually raise our family with a strong connection to the land and an understanding of where their food comes from. We are particularly interested in opportunities that could develop into a long-term partnership, lease-to-own arrangement, or eventual ownership rather than simply a short-term lease. We aren’t looking for a hobby or a quick opportunity—we are looking for a place where we can put down roots, learn, work hard, contribute to the agricultural community, and build something our family can be proud of for generations.

I am a U.S. Navy veteran who served nine years on active duty, and after leaving the military I found myself searching for the same sense of purpose, hard work, and connection to something meaningful that I valued during my service. Farming and caring for land has increasingly become the direction I feel drawn toward.

While we are beginning farmers and still have a great deal to learn, we are hardworking, dependable, willing to learn from experienced farmers, and not afraid of putting in the work required to build something from the ground up.

We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.

Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.

We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.

We are experienced, respectful and fair. We appreciate our landowners and honor a good working relationship.
