Rutgers Turfgrass graduate 2006, working in ground care most my life. I have category 7 pesticide license. I garden and have a small orchard and make syrup every year. I’m blessed with the ability and knowledge to grow, however, have financial constraints making leasing land difficult.
I’ve been golf course superintendent at Berkleigh Country Club in Kutztown before moving home and taking a job as assistant at Glen Oak. I left golf for 13 years and worked for a small fence company which is now the largest on east coast. From there I took a job as a field operator pumping wells in Bradford and Lycoming for 4 years. I then got back into the golf industry and took a superintendent job for four seasons. Most recently I was the superintendent at Greystone.
Currently I’m working in the landscaping industry. I’m looking for an opportunity to farm. I am creative and able to make the most out of the resources available. I currently live in Northeastern Luzerne County, looking for something within a reasonable distance from there.
