I am a first generation farmer in search of land for raising livestock and crop production. I will dominantly be raising goats with a few cattle and sheep. Crops will for personal and market use.

I am looking for 10-25 acres of land to begin my operations that will consist of the following: 500 laying hens, 1000 broilers, a 1.5-acre vegetable garden, two cows, six sheep, a small processing mobile unit that can be eventually removed. I am seeking to form or collaborate with a farmer who would be willing to let me either use a portion of their unused land or construct a 1-5 year leases agreement. This would position my operation to immediately build soil nutrient, sequester carbon, give value to the property and or eventually exercise a motion to either buy or lease for long term.

I am a beginning farmer that has a background in food service. I am particularly interested in permaculture and agrotourism. I’d like to work with other farmers/landowners who are particularly interested in heirloom and specialty produce and developing relationships with restaurant owners/food businesses. Secondary to that, I would also like to either start a CSA or help continue an existing CSA and possibly incorporate community-building activities as well; such as work-share programs, art sessions on the farm, guest chef dinners, etc. I’m also interested in maintaining/helping someone maintain a agrotourism business, such as a hipcamp spot, cabin, or bed and breakfast using produce grown on site.
I have experience with pigs and laying hens, would like to gain experience with sheep, horses/donkeys, and other poultry as well. I also have experience with small-scale organic vegetable production (less than 10 acres).

We are a couple currently in college looking for land in Cumberland or York County (or a 45 minute radius from Harrisburg) for crop production. Ideally, we would like to have 7-15 acres for a farmstead operation. We are planning to do a permaculture orchard and lavender field along with growing commodity crops, specialty crops, spices, and vegetables. I specialize in animals and my partner specializes in horticulture and business.

I have 8 years of diversified organic vegetable farming experience. I am looking to start my own operation. I want to start an operation the is low-till with very intentional mechanization to maximize throughput and profit without compromising respect for labor or land.
Systems efficiency is my bread and butter. Standardize, streamline, and simplify.

I am a 27 year old hope to be first in many generations farmer. Myself and those I live with operate a nonprofit music festival. I tend garden every summer on our current two acres with chickens. I have done farm work trade in the past and my DREAM is to find a property to grow enough crops and flowers for the farmers markets and a few restaurants at least, and be able to create a space where those looking to learn can come.

We currently have1 high tunnel/greenhouse and are expanding to add at least 2 more. We raise meat chickens, laying chickens and swine. We harvest a multi-fruit orchard and several varieties of berries, as well. We live in a very recessed area, in fact, a food desert, and would like to work on filling that gap. I have over 30 years’ experience in crop growing on a small level and look forward to expanding and educating on a bigger platform.
