We are a dedicated couple searching for a farm property in Pennsylvania for a long-term lease, ideally with a lease-to-own option. Our goal is to build a diversified, sustainable farm that supports both our family and the local community with responsibly raised meats, fresh produce, and handmade goods.
Our vision includes:
A small herd of meat cattle for personal and local consumption
Meat chickens, laying hens, and meat rabbits, with plans to wholesale rabbit meat to local restaurants
Dairy goats for producing artisan cheeses, soaps, butter, and other goods
A robust garden for growing vegetables and herbs
A home-based operation crafting bread, soap, baked goods, and more
Sustainability, soil health, and ethical animal care are central to everything we plan to do. We’re committed to creating a regenerative farm that produces high-quality, local food while respecting the land.
A huge plus would be the ability to produce hay on-site—either for our own use or as part of a broader land stewardship plan.
We’re seeking a property with good pasture, reliable water, and room to grow—both literally and figuratively. Open to creative lease arrangements with landowners who value local food systems and sustainable agriculture.
Let’s build something rooted and resilient—together.

I’m a 49 year old woman with a lifetime of experience gardening and caring for horses and small livestock. I’m currently practicing permaculture and “homesteading” on my small <0.25 acre residential lot in downtown Lititz, PA.
My dream is to run an inclusive Care Farm for children on a larger plot that will be accessible to children of ALL abilities. Care farming is the therapeutic use of farming practices to provide health, social, and educational services for people in need.
While only a small portion of the farm will be directly used for growing crops (around an acre), the rest will be used as pasture for grazing animals and/or left natural to enrich the ecosystem. I'm particularly looking for land opportunities in the southern portion of the state.

I grew up in Cranberry Township on 10 acres when it was still farm land – born in the early 70s with cows as neighbors on 2 sides. I only ever knew well water and raw milk direct from our local farmer friend. My family had two small gardens but enough to feed 5 for summer with about 10 rows of corn, which us kids mostly seeded, watered, weeded, harvested. I would say we grew about 10 to 12+ different types of vegetables. We often went to local farms for apple, picking and took them to the local cider press (Sally’s) to watch them, be pressed into our own cider. My parents both hunted until my mom had children, and we hunted to sustain winter since we did not grow up with a lot of money.
I went from that life pretty directly to corporate world at age 19 through 52 and I much preferred the former life. I enjoy being more in tune with nature, more time outdoors, more self-sustaining, and of course, more tomatoes!
As back up, I have my best friend from high school and her husband who own a beyond organic (even more stringent practices) orchard/cidery and have degrees in horticulture and agriculture. I consider them experts in going in above and beyond in their practices of organic farming and living.
I would love to start learning more and am ready to start up and find land.

We currently have no room on our farm to expand. We raise mini highland and highland cross cattle. 50% of our current area is crops so we are looking for barn or pasture area. Hoping to one day buy but trying to grow slow.

I am a 29 year old father of three with a girlfriend soon to be wife. I have always wished I grew up on some type of farm but was really only able to work jobs once and again on them. I am aspiring to own my own goat farm, using them for grazing services and milk products and possibly get into the meat industry. I have been planning this for years now and am beyond ready to dive into it. My family would also be helping me with this adventure so I already have a couple “employees”. (Haha) This is a dream for not only me but my family. Just want to earn a living ourselves and provide a simple but yet bountiful life for our family.

My husband and I dream of enough land to produce enough veggies and fruits to feed our family and sell. We would love to sell at a market or create a small farm shop to sell out of to include other handmade items such as woodwork, hand sewn, , sourdough products, bakery items, jellies etc. my husband grew up in the country where his family owned cattle, chickens, pigs,. I am skilled at sewing and can make almost anything from scratch. My husband is a skilled carpenter, was a welder all his life by trade.

Career background in technology and energy entrepreneurship. JD from Harvard Law School. Professionally, I’m new to farming, though my very first job (age 13) was working on a local farm. Born and raised in Bucks County PA, now live in Harrisburg.
Exploring small to mid-sized farm opportunities for organic crop production alongside solar energy production. I’m passionate about the opportunity to create local food and local energy, being both environmentally and financially sustainable. Interested in land purchase (not leasing).
