I’m 36 years old looking to get into farming. I grew up around it but my family doesn’t have large property. I’ve been working in seed research and am currently a technical agronomist for a seed company. We sell corn and soybean seed. In seed research I learned more about caring for the land through caring for the crops.

Hello my name is Eric Frain. I have been around small scale crop farming most of my life. In may of 2023 my father passed and I took over his farming operation. Currently Iam leasing a little over 200 acres in Franklin County Pennsylvania and Washington County Maryland. I am a us army veteran and I’m looking to own land or lease land for horse hay production and cash crops would be also interested in finding pasture land for beef cattle. I currently do work full time as a diesel mechanic and shop manager. I also currently own all the equipment I need to produce all crops and harvest.

I’m currently farming in a 1500sqft warehouse growing microgreens, Hydroponic Saffron and just starting to test growing truffles indoors. I’m currently small scale, but am looking for land to expand and grow. I have Farm internship/apprenticeship, Farmer training and took workshop on farm for work experience. I have Trial and Error, along with different veteran to farmer programs and if they didn’t have the classes I wanted I looked on activity section on AirBNB to look for blacksmithing classes and also part of Cornell university veterans group

I’m looking to start a small self sufficient farm. Provide food for my family and maybe sell some produce/beef on the side, just enough to cover costs. For me it’s about living off the land and providing for my family

Hi!
I am a commercial flower farmer. I only grow perennial plants.
I have an active 55 acre flower farm of myself in Salem county, NJ.
My farm has been profitable so far and I am looking forward to expanding my operations in the Northeast USA.
My operations do not need electricity, water, sewer connectivity, etc. so we are pretty low maintenance. We only enter the premises when planting, then harvesting and occasional weeding/maintenance.
I am only looking forward to long term lease (5 to 10yrs+) of farmland anywhere in Northeast USA.

Hello, my name is Heather Noonan. I am 30 years old and I have lived in beautiful Pennsylvania farm country my whole life. Growing up, two of my neighbors had farms and I loved spending time there. My passion for animals led me to career opportunities working on farms, horse barns, and ultimately into the veterinary medical field. I have spent the last 14 years caring for companion animals, farm animals, wild animals, and even animals involved in medical research and development. I currently work on a farm in Ottsville, Pa, where I take care of 12 horses, 4 donkeys, 35 sheep, 15 cows, about 40 geese, and roughly 60 chickens. I have always dreamed of the opportunity to own or operate a farm of my very own. I have never found the peace and fulfillment in life that I feel when working on farms. I would love to utilize my experience in the Agricultural Tourism industry and extensive experience with farm management and animal husbandry to create a successful, sustainable, and ethical farm business. I also plan to incorporate my personal and professional experience in gardening/ small scale crop production to sustain the farm and its production as well as add another avenue for farm-generated income. I would love the opportunity to discuss my farm experience and collaborate with local farmers living the dream! I hope to hear from you soon.
