Currently I own 12 partially wooded acres where I graze beef, poultry, and pork. I would like to retire from the army and lease 30-60 grazable acres to increase my beef production.

Hi!

I am a commercial flower farmer. I only grow perennial plants.
I have an active 55 acre flower farm of myself in Salem county, NJ.
My farm has been profitable so far and I am looking forward to expanding my operations in the Northeast USA.

My operations do not need electricity, water, sewer connectivity, etc. so we are pretty low maintenance. We only enter the premises when planting, then harvesting and occasional weeding/maintenance.

I am only looking forward to long term lease (5 to 10yrs+) of farmland anywhere in Northeast USA.

Looking for a place for our family to expand pursuits and have space to share together. We would like space to grow our butchering and value added food production, beekeeping, maple syrup, and other interests.

My name is Brock, I’m 33 and I’ve been farming for the better part of 13 years now. I started out on a raw goat dairy in northern FL, did a formal internship at Soil Born Farms in CA where I later became an assistant manager. We raised sheep, cattle, chickens, orchards, and vegetables. I then became the farm manager at a 50 acre diversified vegetable/sheep farm in southern Oregon. After that I spent the next 3 years starting my own farm business in southern OR raising 3 acres of vegetables, mixed livestock (Chickens, pigs, sheep, ducks) attending 3 farmers markets each week, managing a 30+/- member free-share CSA, and selling to about 10 restaurants. I relocated back east 2 years ago due to unmanaged wildfires that were getting worse each year, as well as drought and water issues. I worked for a year as a farm manger mostly doing tractor work in upstate NY on a 25 acre vegetable farm, and I currently manage the hay, equipment, livestock and orchards at a farm in VT.

My wife is Joelle who has been working at a geoengineering company working in sales and event organizing. She just finished her Masters in Business and in her free time is a certified yoga teacher, avid knitter and flower grower and organizer.

Together we both bring the necessary skills and experiences to operate a profitable farm business.

My husband and I are beginner farmers currently enrolled in the Beginner Farmer Training Program at Rutgers University. Currently we own a small farmette in Burlington County, New Jersey where we raise small stature dairy animals including registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and Miniature Cattle (Jersey’s and Belted Galloway-Dexter crosses). We also have pastured poultry and sell eggs to local customers. Recently, we have started a market garden where we grow vegetables intensively in a small space. I am a bread baker and will be applying for a cottage food permit in order to sell my bread along with the produce that we grow next season. Off of the farm, I work part-time as a pediatric nurse practitioner and my husband is a full-time machine operator for the local gas company. Growing up, my uncle had a beef operation in Potter County, Pennsylvania. Though he no longer actively farms, he still resides on the land and is our mentor. We are looking to purchase a larger farm property so that we can expand our current operation which would include beef and possibly a micro dairy in the future!

I am a 41 year old army veteran who has been learning about farming for the past 10-15years in many different ways. I started out volunteering at Kimberton CSA and have worked and volunteered at multiple vegetable farms in PA and VA. I also have some experience with sheep and pasture management. I’m currently finishing up the 9 month Veteran Farmer Training Program at the Rodale Institute. This program has greatly expanded my knowledge of farming and helped me to define my specific interests. My intention is to raise grass fed lamb. I would also like to explore grain production for human consumption and flax for fiber. I’m looking to start with a small flock of ewes but have enough space for the flock to grow.

Hi there!
I am Desmond, seeking land for agro farming. I have farming experience in cereal crops and vegetables. Have been doing gardening for several years and looking for possibilities to expand.

I am a 40 year old married man with two children. I’ve always loved nature and to be outdoors. My interest in gardening began at a young age. I spent quite a few years working my way up to the point where I had a marketable quantity of produce. I continued this effort for some time. My focus was always on organic methods. I’ve also raised sheep and goats. I have earned my Bachelors degree in Environmental Science. I have worked at a myriad of agricultural/horticulture jobs from farms, to nurseries, garden center, and landscaping. My current position is Agricultural Director at Pocono Organics in Long Pond, PA. Pocono Organics is a premier regenerative organic farm/greenhouse/market and Cafe. I have been with them from the start and quickly made my way into the position which I now hold. I never owned a farm and previously operated my entrepreneurial effort called ‘Sacred Earth Farms’ off of land leased from family. I am using Farmlink because I am very interested to explore opertunities to access land and further my personal farming goals. I am looking to lease, lease to own, or buy a farm roughly in the range of 10 to 20 acres. I am open to pursuing the best opportunity, but ideally the farm would be located in southeast Pennsylvania. I would like to continue organic farming practices in a mixed production setting, ie. Vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and livestock. Many factors could influence my farming business plan from what is produced to how it is to be marketed. Housing on site is preferable.
