Heather Weeks is a senior ag business with AgChoice. Heather grew up in New Hampshire on her family’s dairy farm. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. degree in dairy science and M.S. degree in agricultural and applied economics.
Heather will assist participants with better understanding the financial well-being of their farm operation along with discussing risk management options such as crop insurance options.

Born and raised in Upstate NY where I continue to live with my husband. Graduated with Honors from SUNY Brockport and Nazareth College with a Masters in Social Work and have been working in the field for over 15 years. My early experience centered around medical social work with a recent switch to my current role as a Mental Health Therapist. In addition, I work part time for Cornell University NY FarmNet as a Family Consultant working with farm families in New York State. I recently obtained my certification in Life Coaching and launched my private business KINDfulness Coaching working with professional women to reduce symptoms of burnout and manage anxiety.

Jess Peters
Jess Peters is a dairy farmer from Pennsylvania where she and her family own and operate a registered herd of Jersey cows on Spruce Row Farm. Farming has always been her passion and has led her to lots of other experiences and opportunities. After graduating from Penn State University, she spent two years working and managing dairy farms in New Zealand. Now, having been home for over ten years, she has become an online advocate for agriculture and mental health within the agricultural community.
