I am a Navy veteran, husband, and soon-to-be father looking to establish a long-term family farm where we can put down roots, raise our children, and become responsible stewards of the land.
I am relatively new to farming professionally, but I have become deeply committed to regenerative agriculture and am actively educating myself on soil health, rotational grazing, pasture management, livestock, food production, and long-term land stewardship. My goal is to develop a diversified, regenerative family farm built around healthy pasture and livestock, with particular interest in grass-fed lamb. I would also like to raise chickens and other livestock, grow some of our own food, establish a greenhouse and garden, and create a farm that becomes increasingly productive and self-sufficient over time.
I am especially interested in land with good pasture, reliable water, healthy or restorable soils, and enough acreage to practice rotational grazing and improve the property rather than overwork it. I am not looking for a short-term investment or development opportunity; I am looking for a place my family can care for decades, improve through regenerative practices, and hopefully pass on to the next generation.
None completed at this time. I am currently self-educating in regenerative agriculture, soil health, rotational grazing, pasture management, livestock production, and farm stewardship, and I am interested in pursuing formal training as I develop my farm.
We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.
Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.
Young couple with many years of farm experience looking for an opportunity to farm and build equity to eventually buy out farm. Both currently working off farm. Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. Husband would like to continue to work full time off the farm and farm on the side to build capital and equity. Eventually would love to farm full time if situation allows and income warrants.
Experience in all aspects of farm operation and anxious to start road to their own business and work towards the next generation being a part of it.
We currently operate a beef, crop and hay farm as well as manage a large horse farm and offer custom operator services.
We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
We are experienced, respectful and fair. We appreciate our landowners and honor a good working relationship.
