My wife and I are seeking to relocate to southern Pennsylvania and establish our own diversified farm and forestry operation. I have over 30 years of production experience with vegetables, orchards, vineyards, greenhouse, and pasture management, along with basic small and large livestock care. I have over 25 years of team leadership and development experience coupled with food safety, marketing, and sales in retail, auction, and wholesale settings in rural to urban areas in NJ.
We will be utilizing regenerative and organic practices in both field and agroforestry systems and value-added products. I presently work as staff for the NJ Ag. Experiment Station (NJAES) on one of Rutgers’ satellite research farms and have gained research protocol experience here. I am also a graduate of Farm Credit East’s Generation Next program (circa 2014).
Our business model also includes public engagement aspects beyond sales, such as mentoring opportunities, farm system tours and demonstrations, and legislative engagement. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Agriculture and Food Systems with Minors in Plant Science (biology) and Environmental and Business Economics. I am also an active executive Board member on our local Cumberland County Board of Agriculture (NJ’s county Farm Bureau designation).

We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.
Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.
Young couple with many years of farm experience looking for an opportunity to farm and build equity to eventually buy out farm. Both currently working off farm. Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. Husband would like to continue to work full time off the farm and farm on the side to build capital and equity. Eventually would love to farm full time if situation allows and income warrants.
Experience in all aspects of farm operation and anxious to start road to their own business and work towards the next generation being a part of it.
We currently operate a beef, crop and hay farm as well as manage a large horse farm and offer custom operator services.
We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
We are experienced, respectful and fair. We appreciate our landowners and honor a good working relationship.
