Farmer Information:
I am interested in finding land where I can build and operate a farm of my own. My goal is to develop a small, sustainable farm that combines crop production with a dairy operation.
I am still in the process of gaining hands-on farming experience and developing my business plan, but I am very motivated to learn and committed to making farming a long-term career and way of life. I am looking for an opportunity to work with a landowner who is open to helping someone establish a farm and put their land to productive use. I would like to grow crops, raise animals responsibly, and eventually build a self-sustaining agricultural business that can grow over time. I am willing to put in the work, learn from experienced farmers, and invest the time necessary to make the farm successful.
Agricultural Degrees / Certifications:
I have not completed an agricultural degree or formal agricultural classes. I have several years of hands-on experience maintaining my own garden and am interested in continuing to learn and gain practical farming experience. We raised chickens and many dogs. We have experience with horses and cows but never have owned.

We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.

Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
