I am looking to transition from managing someone else’s barn to manage my own property. I have been looking for places to lease in my local Latrobe Pa area. I have a proven business model. In January of 2025 I became manager of a property owned by someone with zero horse knowledge. I accomplished the task of setting up, sourcing, and running a complete boarding facility with 13 horses on property in less than 1 year. My desire is now to move on and do this for myself. I feel there is a real need in my area for quality focused small herd (10-12 horses) care. I have a fantastic feed program with access to a great nutritionist. I seek any assistance possible to help me secure a property suitable to achieve my goals.
I entered the equestrian arena later in life. In 2011 I started by taking lessons to learn how to ride properly. In the last 15 years I have transitioned from lesson student, to working student and on to barn manager. Caring for horses has become my passion and providing a safe, consistent, caring environment has become my goal. I have learned so much and gained great knowledge from many wonderful people along the way.
We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.
Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.
Young couple with many years of farm experience looking for an opportunity to farm and build equity to eventually buy out farm. Both currently working off farm. Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. Husband would like to continue to work full time off the farm and farm on the side to build capital and equity. Eventually would love to farm full time if situation allows and income warrants.
Experience in all aspects of farm operation and anxious to start road to their own business and work towards the next generation being a part of it.
We currently operate a beef, crop and hay farm as well as manage a large horse farm and offer custom operator services.
We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
We are experienced, respectful and fair. We appreciate our landowners and honor a good working relationship.
