Farmer Information:
I am a Penn State graduate in Finance and a young father who wants to start a farm/homestead for my family and for the community of Erie to get quality grass-fed milk and fresh pasture-raised eggs.
I have experience taking care of my neighbors chickens when they were away and I know a lot of the ins and outs of milking cows from a local dairy farm in State College where I would go weekly.
It’s always been a hobby of mine to be outdoors with animals in the field and in backyards and I would like to make my dream come true while also providing income and amazing food products for my family and the community. I recently moved to Erie, PA to work and to be closer to my wife’s family.
Seeing all the vacant land and beautiful pastures in Erie County made me want to pursue this dream and make it become reality. I knew I was always meant to work with my hands and own a farm like my great grandpa, and I know it will take a lot of hard work and learning on my part, but I am willing to try.

We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.
Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.

Young couple with many years of farm experience looking for an opportunity to farm and build equity to eventually buy out farm. Both currently working off farm. Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. Husband would like to continue to work full time off the farm and farm on the side to build capital and equity. Eventually would love to farm full time if situation allows and income warrants.

We currently operate a beef, crop and hay farm as well as manage a large horse farm and offer custom operator services.
We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
