I have been very blessed to be born into the farming way of life and now am privileged to farm with my wife and two young sons. We are looking for land within a 50 mi radius of Pine Grove that we could rent for our livestock.
After years of organic row cropping and produce farming, I have found my passion lies in stewarding the land through management intensive grazing with cattle. It is amazing to me how planned rotational grazing can not only improve fertile land but also heal land that has been abused and degraded for many years. It can be a truly synergistic process, and a blessing to the land, the livestock and the lives of our landowners and ourselves.
We are open to discuss any opportunity. We are willing to fence land that is in crops or hay production currently or repair poor fences. I have a lot of experience in establishing perennial grass in what was cropland for years. We are open to discussing creative arrangements for renting, such as if you want the cattle gone for certain months (hunting season, etc.). Also, we can supply a trade of beef for land access if you would prefer food security over cash. I’d be delighted to discuss options!
We are a family with young children looking for an opportunity to begin farming. We did not grow up on a family farm; however, my grandparents were dairy farmers which sparked a passion for farming and agriculture.
We currently raise a handful of small breed sheep, and I work in the Conservation/Agricultural consulting field in the Southeast/Southcentral part of the state. We have some farm experience working on several dairies and experience with processing/jugging milk.
Looking for a farm opportunity in which to gain experience, build equity, and the chance to raise our kids around a farm. Housing on the farm would be preferred.
Young couple with many years of farm experience looking for an opportunity to farm and build equity to eventually buy out farm. Both currently working off farm. Ideally an opportunity for the wife to stay home with family and care for farm animals possibly chickens and or other livestock/dairy animals. Husband would like to continue to work full time off the farm and farm on the side to build capital and equity. Eventually would love to farm full time if situation allows and income warrants.
Experience in all aspects of farm operation and anxious to start road to their own business and work towards the next generation being a part of it.
We currently operate a beef, crop and hay farm as well as manage a large horse farm and offer custom operator services.
We are always interested in local properties to grow our business. We began our business approximately 14 years ago. We have an 80 acre farm in Chester County and continue to grow by leasing and working with area landowners.
We are experienced, respectful and fair. We appreciate our landowners and honor a good working relationship.
