Young married couple looking to start a family farm focused on pasture raised animals and produce. I have ten years livestock, produce and row crop experience. Currently, I have two bred heifers and am looking to grow our herd. I am currently in the last year of my enlistment in the military and am looking to move back to Pennsylvania with my wife to begin a family farm. My wife, who also has farm experience, is in her second year of veterinary school.
Transitioning from the military into a family farm would fulfill our dream of raising our future children with the values and maturity that can only be found on a farm. We are looking to market sustainably raised livestock and create a family farm for our future children.
We are looking to buy land preferably with a house, between 80-200 acres. We would like to find land in either the Williamsport, Scranton region or near Altoona/State College.
