Heaven and Earth farms is a family owned, start-up farming operation. We are a family of homeschoolers who understand the strength in uniting to make our communities better. We believe in helping our local community grow stronger through education, awareness, most of all, preserving farmland and keeping farming alive and thriving from our generation to the next.

Heaven and Earths is seeking to lease a property to build and grow our farm. We have attended the Beginner Farmer’s workshop through PA Farm Link. With the assistance and resources of PA Farm Link, Heaven and Earth farms will be able to build a successful enterprise structured to survive for many generations. Our goal is to find a suitable property with a long-term lease that will allow us to build a successful farming operation and ultimately purchase the property.

Although Heaven and Earth farms is a start-up operation, we have experience with small livestock, poultry, and have worked with rescue horses for over six years. We have also been very active in 4-H clubs and showing livestock at county fairs. We have done numerous community fundraisers for animal rescues and 4-H projects. We are a family operation and we believe in uniting people to create strong, healthy futures for our community.

We plan to begin with horse boarding and raising small livestock (interest in Angora goats and Pygora goats they produce lustrous fiber known as mohair).

Then we will expand to growing select organic crops. We believe in creating a sustainable farming situation that allows for profits all year round. We are very interested in Hydroponic farming. Having multiple streams of income will allow Heaven and Earth farms to sustain steady profits and keep the farm engaged in the community all year instead of only seasonally. In today’s market, being a constant presence in the community is vital to growing farms. From farmer’s markets to livestock sales, to on-site programs, Heaven and Earth farms will be an irreplaceable staple in the community.
