I was raised on a small farm raising beef, pork, and horses. When my Grandpa passed I moved to warren county where i became involved in dairy. I spend several years working different types of operations, however the stanchion barns and smaller herds were my preferred way to go. The last several years ive mainly been working in the timber industry logging with equpiment and my family’s belgian horses. I am also a farrier on the side.

Aspiring farmer looking to grow beyond the home garden and chickens to create a regenerative, self-sustained, organic homestead for local food security. Seeking opportunities to grow my skills and/or to buy agricultural land for a small-scale family farm.
Interested in utilizing no-till, permaculture principles to partner with nature in growing a diversity of nutrient dense fruits, vegetables and herbs. Raising sheep, goats and poultry using high intensity rotational grazing for optimal milk and meat quality, as well as to improve soil health on the pasture. Hoping to use my engineering background to create systems for efficiency and problem solving as well as my wife’s nursing background to promote the best natural health for the animals we care for.

We are a family-run, grass fed beef production farm, specializing in production of low-cholesterol beef with excellent tenderness and exquisite taste. This is accomplished by using the Piedmontese cattle breed. We started operations in 2008 and have now grown the herd to the point of seriously entering the farm to table market. We also sell seedstock for this remarkable breed using imported Italian Anaborapi semen and offspring from these registered cattle.

I am currently a Livestock Nutrition Consultant for a supplement company, but I have previously worked in roles as a vegetable farmer, field technician, and livestock manager. All of these prior positions were held on organic farms.
I am looking to work into having a beef herd of my own. I would also be interested in operating a dairy, if the situation is right.
I currently have a few beef steers of my own, and help out on a dairy farm on most weekends.
I would likely have to keep my office position while I started the farm, so starting small-ish and local would be ideal. The office is located in Lancaster County, between Harrisburg and Lancaster city.

My husband and I are military veterans who have been homesteading since 2018 when we purchased our current 2 acre property. In that time, we have honed our skills with growing fruits, vegetables, berries, and flowers. We also raise meat chickens, laying hens, started beekeeping, making tallow soap, teas, and pressed flower art.
While we love our home, we’re beginning to outgrow our current property and want to continue to build upon this lifestyle for ourselves and our young son. We have dreams of expanding into raising cattle and other livestock, having enough space to expand our beekeeping operation, grow produce, flowers, and create products to sell at a farm stand/markets.
We are very passionate about regenerative practices and have the drive and willingness to learn as much as we can. We’re just looking for the perfect opportunity and space to grow.

I’m 36 years old looking to get into farming. I grew up around it but my family doesn’t have large property. I’ve been working in seed research and am currently a technical agronomist for a seed company. We sell corn and soybean seed. In seed research I learned more about caring for the land through caring for the crops.

I am 21 and was born and raised on a dairy farm, which has since been transitioned to a beef and crop farm. I own and manage a small flock of khatadin sheep for meat. I have experience with beef, dairy, sheep, goats, small scale chicken and hogs, as well as flower and veggie production for a small family CSA we ran a few years ago. I just recently moved off the farm and got a job with the Farm Service Agency but am looking for a farm to purchase. Ideally it would have a barn for beef and sheep production, pastures, and acreage for crop production for the operation.
