I’m a hay farmer who dabbles with flowers and vegetables on the small scale. Recently moved to Western PA and am looking for land to plant Hay, would pay cash rent or come to an agreement with the right farm. I have been farmer for 3 years on my own but have been working with hay for 10 years

I currently operate a feedmill (as an employee), run a large residential garden, berries, fruit trees, and chickens. I own an LLC for produce farming and am working at options to get it off the ground from dormancy again. I have taken FSMA training and will get a refresher here soon. I do not have current gap or harmonized GAP audits due to the business being dormant. I am getting ready to develop a website for marketing in the near future so I can hit the ground running.

Hello, I’m interested in renting farm land. Renting farm land will help me fully indulge and flourish, in growing foods within the proper environment. While also having the space to properly grow foods only.

My homestead was created in 2021 as a livestock breeding program; however, it’s morphed into providing livestock education and interaction to my local community with the herd animals by providing cuddle sessions, special events, and family photography onsite. I’m looking for continued opportunities to expand business operations, marketing strategies, and increased education.

I studied agriculture, ecology, and food systems at Cornell (2021) and have worked on organic farms in California for the past 4 years, as both farm manager and farm operations assistant. I am excited to be moving back to the East coast where I have land access in Berks County via family. The 8-acre farm is currently being farmed by a local dairy farmer, who has grown organic feed for his herd for many years but is retiring soon. I have plans to start a small farm on this land where I want to increase the acreage of perennial food crops (apples, blueberries, and other specialty fruit crops) as well as grow organic dry/storage food crops. Though I grew up in Philadelphia, I have never farmed in Pennsylvania and will need to significantly acquaint myself with the region and resources available there.

I do outdoor, indoor, and aquatic gardening as a hobby. Our small yard has a lot of factors that make a good harvest of multiple types of crops difficult to achieve. Ideally looking to lease/rent (or purchase within reason) a small bit of land (less than an acre) to grow fruit, preferably organic, where I retain ownership of the plants and permission to sell the produce as a hobbyist venture should I so choose. My family has way more experience than i do in agriculture, so good cell service or a wifi connection is necessary to be able to seek their advice.

My brothers and I are eager to enter into an agriculture business. We seek to acquire a farm to operate with the intent of working and preserving the land. Combined, we have years of experience throughout the agriculture sector working with livestock, poultry, and food production. We would be most interested in any information that could allow us to help us achieve our goals.

We are a dedicated couple searching for a farm property in Pennsylvania for a long-term lease, ideally with a lease-to-own option. Our goal is to build a diversified, sustainable farm that supports both our family and the local community with responsibly raised meats, fresh produce, and handmade goods.

Our vision includes:

A small herd of meat cattle for personal and local consumption

Meat chickens, laying hens, and meat rabbits, with plans to wholesale rabbit meat to local restaurants

Dairy goats for producing artisan cheeses, soaps, butter, and other goods

A robust garden for growing vegetables and herbs

A home-based operation crafting bread, soap, baked goods, and more

Sustainability, soil health, and ethical animal care are central to everything we plan to do. We’re committed to creating a regenerative farm that produces high-quality, local food while respecting the land.

A huge plus would be the ability to produce hay on-site—either for our own use or as part of a broader land stewardship plan.

We’re seeking a property with good pasture, reliable water, and room to grow—both literally and figuratively. Open to creative lease arrangements with landowners who value local food systems and sustainable agriculture.

Let’s build something rooted and resilient—together.
