My brothers and I are eager to enter into an agriculture business. We seek to acquire a farm to operate with the intent of working and preserving the land. Combined, we have years of experience throughout the agriculture sector working with livestock, poultry, and food production. We would be most interested in any information that could allow us to help us achieve our goals.

I am someone who has found myself feeling very passionate about land conservation and farming for my family. I don’t have a lot of experience, just a backyard garden that I’m managing to keep alive in the Sonoran Desert. (That has to count for at least a point or two.)

My best friend and I are dreaming of a life where we can both live on the same property and grow foods for ourselves, our extended family, and maybe even a farm stand. This would ideally be located in Pennsylvania, so that I can return to my home state and be around family. I want fruit trees and berry bushes, chickens and goats, a very large veggie garden and plenty of flower gardens as well. I intend fully to create habitats of native plants, flowers, and trees for animals and bugs native to the area.

I just don’t know where to start or how to acquire land without putting myself in debt.

We currently have no room on our farm to expand. We raise mini highland and highland cross cattle. 50% of our current area is crops so we are looking for barn or pasture area. Hoping to one day buy but trying to grow slow.

I helped my grandparents on their farms growing up. Currently raise bees and have had a garden on my property for the past 20 years. I have taking a few classes through Penn State on raising sheep and starting a small farm. I am know looking for a small farmer to raise a small flock of sheep.

Career background in technology and energy entrepreneurship. JD from Harvard Law School. Professionally, I’m new to farming, though my very first job (age 13) was working on a local farm. Born and raised in Bucks County PA, now live in Harrisburg.

Exploring small to mid-sized farm opportunities for organic crop production alongside solar energy production. I’m passionate about the opportunity to create local food and local energy, being both environmentally and financially sustainable. Interested in land purchase (not leasing).

Retired HVAC. Looking for an opportunity to be a working trustee with perhaps possibly buying a hobby farm property.
As my wife and I are older, not looking for a huge farm. We have older children that would also help with the work. Maybe a small hobby farm/property with an eye towards argiturism.

I am about to start my farming journey. the costs of buying farm land and set it up to work are extremely high; and im not one for taking risks, so i want to pay off the loans asap. I had initially set up plans for an elaborate self sustainable closed loop greenhouse business; but it looks like starting off growing hemp may be the fastest way to do pay everything off before branching out to my initial goals. As of now my goals are to acquire land and a home; and set up as many acres as possible with hemp for the first year, and second year depending on where the financials stand, i may do a second year like that, or cut back on the acres of hemp i farm and begin the greenhouse set ups.
